ENTRAÎNEUR DE L'ANNÉE 2011 - AQR - 2011 TRAINER OF THE YEAR: Le représentant du conseil d'administration de la Fédération équestre du Québec, M. Normand Caron, présente le trophée FEQ de l'entraîneur de l'année à Matthew Hudson / Mr. Normand Caron, on behalf of the Board of Directors of «la Fédération équestre du Québec», presents to Matthew Hudson, the 2011 FEQ Trainer of the Year trophy.
'THE GUNNERS' AU TEMPLE DE LA RENOMMÉE - AQR - 'THE GUNNERS' INDUCTED TO AQR HALL OF FAME: On voit ici l'étalon 'The Gunners' en action l'an dernier, à l'âge de 19 ans, lors d'un concours AQR avec, aux rênes, Mathieu Boucher (20 ans). Le nouvel intronisé est la propriété de Robert Deslandes et s'est mérité, en 2011, 2 championnats et 2 vice-championnats de saison AQR / Here is 'The Gunners' (19 years old) sliding last year in Blainville with 20-year old rider Mathieu Boucher. 'The Gunners' is owned by Robert Deslandes and earned 2 Championships and 2 Reserve Championships of AQR Season Awards.

3 NOUVEAUX VISAGES AU CA AQR POUR 2012
Lors de l’assemblée générale spéciale tenue samedi dernier le 19 novembre afin d’élire les membres du conseil d’administration de l’Association Québécoise de Reining (AQR) pour 2012-2013, trois (3) nouvelles figurent ont été élues, soit Normand Caron, Anne Schmidlin et Christian Tremblay. Dans le cas de MM. Caron et Tremblay, c’est un retour au CA après quelques années d’absence. Quant à Anne Schmidlin, c’est probablement une des rares fois qu’un administrateur ‘JEUNE’ siège au sein du CA de l’association durant son existence de 35 ans.

3 NEW FACES ON AQR 2012 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Quebec Reining Association (AQR) held its Annual General Special meeting on November 19 last to elect the 2012 Board of Directors. Three new faces were elected: Normand Caron, Anne Schmidlin and Christian Tremblay. For both Caron and Tremblay, this marks a return to the BOD after a few years off. Anne Schmidlin is one of the very few Directors in the 35 year-history of AQR, to be a ‘YOUTH’.
